Wall Hangings I make wallhangings of my hand-dyed cloth. Some are quite large, and are backed and filled with a thin cotton batting. I sew a sleeve accross the top, so they can be hung easily. I also make smaller framed hangings. These are constructed of hand-dyed cotton fabrics in a fairly spontaneous style. They are pieced and then stretched over a wooden frame, as a painted canvas is. They hang easily on two small nails. To see images of hangings I have made, see the wallhangings page of my Gallery of Past Work. |
