Fabric - mop-up

hand-dyed Fabrics

I do almost all my dyeing on a large (4' x 8') table, and whenever I dye anything, there's excess dye on the table after I pick up the piece I first dyed. I don't like to waste anything, so I pick up the excess dye in several ways. The most common of these is mop-up, so I generate a lot of dyed cloth that way. Some of it goes on to have other things done to it, (including more mop-up!)

Here I show you all the fabrics for sale that are either just mop-up pieces, or have that technique as their base

Each image below is linked to a page which will show you a larger image of the same piece.

All fabric is 100% cotton, and dyed with fiber-reactive procion dyes.
