New this year are wonderful and colorful dyed silk sarongs. I use mine as a scarf year-round, but one makes a great shawl for a little extra warmth, or a cover-up for beach wear. They're big -- 4 x 6 feet -- but light enough that they'll bunch up nicely and make a toasty scarf. Above, you can see a few of the possibilities! These sarongs are 8mm Habotai silk (some of you will know what this means!). They can be machine-washed, and just get softer and more supple with wear.
