This puzzle's image is of Fire and Ash, a large hanging which made me think of volcanos and a time when the earth was much younger than it is now. The cut pattern is practically cheek-to-jowl with dinosaurs, with some ancient trees thrown in.
I've made two cut patterns for this puzzle. The whimsies for each are the same, but the pieces in between are a bit more challenging in the 262-piece version. In the picture on this page, you see an example of part of the cut for the 144 version on the bottom left and the 262 version on the bottom right. All the whimsies are shown in the image on the upper right.
This puzzle's padded fabric bag looks like a miniature volcano.
